Ted was awesome to work with. First of all, I had an open schedule and knew if you wanted a quality job I might have to wait. If a painter has a cut and dry schedule, you know the job might be rushed so I’d rather have someone who tells you the truth. Ted assured me what would be done and recommended but didn’t push the upgraded paint. The most important part of painting is the prep work and he detailed what would be done.I was home for the start of the prep work but had to leave. His crew did a fantastic job and 2 of my friends that helped oversee the process while I was gone now are looking to have Ted paint their homes. His estimate says, “we might not be the cheapest but we do quality work”. His estimate was very competitive and his layout of the detailed work he was going to do sold me even before I got 2 other estimates. Awesom job and couldn’t be more satisfied.

Ted the owner is great to work with, estimates are given prior to the work. The crew is amicable and everyone cleans as they go. Our house looks amazing after the paint job. Ted is well connected with a carpenter and an electrician so if anything needs to be repaired it’s quick and simple to do (all are licensed). We are really happy with how the job is turning out. With his experience you will get quality products used that last. He also offers guarantees on the work which is really awesome. Kama’aina Aloha service, would definitely recommend.

Ted’s communication with us was excellent. We contracted him to paint the exterior of our house. Unfortunately the work occurred during the rainiest weather we’ve had in a while. He always kept us informed on the project status. Ted is very easy to talk to, and his crew was courteous and professional. He brought his own porta-potty to the job site. We had some termite and other damage that needed repairs before painting. Ted was able to help us out to figure out how to get it done. He was able to finish the job within our agreed timeframe and within our agreed budget. Ted made what we thought would be an anxiety ridden experience into an experience that was easy with no problems. I would recommend them to anyone.

Absolutely outstanding service. Company owner Ted Wexler immediately made me feel like family.. Extremely trustworthy. Came on site daily to check the work of his crew and make sure my expecations were m=being met. They worked around all of us who are working from home and made it easy to still conduct busimess from home while they were here. They finished the work in the time they shared they would and exceeded my expectations. I will absolutely be recomedning them to anyone who needs work done. Again, Homeadvisor has no iplace to add photo’s but will encourage Ted to biuld a website where he can show all of their work. They do commercial work as well.

Ted, the owner of Island Budget and Painting, is a true gem. In an age when people are trying to do as little as possible and charge you as much as possible Ted is a welcome oasis. I solicited four vids and his was very competitive. They did a wonderful job on the exterior of our home. So much so that we even had them paint the ceiling in our house. The nicest thing about working with Ted was his attention to detail and great attitude. Even if something needed to be fixed he always made sure to go the extra mile. Do yourself a favor and hire him and his crew for your next paint job.

It was a pleasant experience working with Ted, Shelton and his crew. Ted was very responsive and provided a very thorough and detailed proposal. His price was right in the middle of 5 bids. I decided to go with Island Budget Painting Resources because there was something about Ted that made me feel comfortable working with him. I have no regrets with my decision because they did an outstanding job prepping and painting the exterior of our home; even doing some masonry and carpentry work! If thoroughness and neatness are attributes of quality of work ethic, Shelton and his crew of 3 (sometimes 6) took nearly 7 days to complete the prep work and painting for our 2100+ single story home. I would highly recommend Island Budget Painting Resources to anyone interested in a quality paint job at a fair price.
